India Festive Season Report - 2022

The Festive season witnessed 9% YoY decline this year in smartphone segment due to higher base last year which resulted from pent up demand. Offline share was back to pre-pandemic level as this time market was operational with no COVID-19 restrictions.
Flipkart was the top online platform while Other online platforms share increased pertaining to OEMs increasing focus on their own e-stores. Premium segment (> INR 30,000) was the highlight this year as the share crossed 15% driven by massive discounts on iPhones, Samsung S-series etc.
