Apple: Apple chipset shipments increased in Q3 2022 due to the launch of the new iPhone 14 pro and its variants with A16 bionic. A15 Bionic is the top-selling chipset in Q3 2022.

MediaTek: MediaTek shipments declined in Q3 2022 due to order cuts from major Chinese OEMs. Also, in terms of revenue MediaTek witnessed a decline due to ongoing customer inventory adjustments, global macroeconomic conditions, the weak China market and the expected continued negative consumer sentiments. Dimensity 700 is among the top 20 selling chipset in Q3 2022. 

Qualcomm: Qualcomm shipments have declined in Q3 2022, mainly due to global macroeconomic conditions, the slowdown in consumer product purchases, and weak demand from Chinese OEMs. Qualcomm is less impacted due to its higher dependence on the premium segment. Snapdragon 680, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 plus, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 695 are the top selling chipset model of Qualcomm in Q3 2022.

Samsung: Samsung shipments declined in Q3 2022 due to the loss in share to Qualcomm in the Galaxy s22 series. Samsung has launched the Galaxy M33, A33, and A53 with Exynos 1280 SoCs which has helped the company to maintain shipments for the mid-high segment. Exynos 8 850 is one of the most 

Hisilicon: As per our checks and sell-thru data, Huawei is close to the end of the inventory for the Hisilcon chipsets. It is also not possible for the brand to obtain newer chipsets from TSMC, Samsung, etc. due to the trade ban.

UNISOC: UNISOC shipments also declined in Q3 2022 due to weak demand for low and entry-level smartphones. UNISOC continues to gain share in the low bands (<$99) driven by the LTE portfolio.
