In November 2020, sell through demand improved compared to last month in regions like US and China as the shopping season began.
Apple captured over one-fifth of the global smartphone market as its sales increased 55% month on month and 20% year on year, driven by the new iPhone 12 series. Samsung's market share declined to 19% in November as sales declined 3% year-on-year and 5% month-on-month. Xiaomi held its market share, however, sales for Xiaomi declined 2% month-on-month.
